Note: This is DIY kit, need you to solder it yourself.
Descriptions
1. Only one 78L08 voltage stabilizing chip is used for the circuit of the whole machine, and all the other circuits are discrete pieces. Because the circuit is of discrete piece structure, the assembly of the whole machine is relatively slow, so it is named snail.
2. Circuit structure: primary cascode high amplifier circuit+field effect single balanced mixing circuit+field effect matching circuit+crystal filtering circuit+two-stage common emitter common base intermediate amplifier circuit+diode balanced mixing circuit+audio pushing circuit+audio power amplifier circuit, wherein the local oscillator circuit is an electrically modulated ceramic oscillator circuit, and the frequency stability fully meets the requirements of single sideband reception, The frequency adjustable range shall be at least 70kHz.
3. One level of high voltage amplifier is added, so an ordinary flexible thin wire can be used to receive single sideband signals. Of course, shortwave reception is closely related to the propagation.
4. The circuit assembly requires a certain degree of theoretical knowledge and hands-on welding ability. The DIY kit is not recommended for beginners.
5. After assembling the discrete circuit, I can see the integrated circuit clearly. At the same time, the discrete circuit can better correspond to the theory in the teaching book, which is a good radio teaching kit
6. The default receiving frequency of the machine under 2MHz ceramic LO is about 7.000MHz - 7.070MHz, which is often referred to as the 40m segment; Of course, if enthusiasts have other LO signal sources, they can also receive other amateur frequencies according to the 9MHz IF of the machine.
8. The power supply voltage of the whole machine is about 11.5V-13.8V, and the static current is about 40mA, which is convenient for dry battery power supply.
10. The size of aluminum shell used is 106x55x100 mm, see the following figure for details.
