VI curve analysis, also known as ASA, does not involve circuit principle and does not require the circuit to be in working state, so it can be used for fault detection of circuit boards that are separated from equipment (without online detection) without drawing data; It is absolutely forbidden to carry out electrification and measure the undischarged capacitance. Since the circuit board does not need to be powered, the circuit board is relatively safer. It does not involve the functions of the devices on the circuit board, so no matter what type of devices the circuit is composed of, digital, analog, digital analog mixed, functional known, unknown (such as dedicated, programmable), etc., it can be tested; It is tested by circuit node (device pin), and is basically not limited by the packaging of components on the circuit board. As a single device can be regarded as the simplest circuit board, ASA technology can also be used to detect the quality of large-scale, complex or unknown integrated devices. In fact, due to limited conditions, ASA is the only way for many users to detect such devices. In addition, ASA is convenient and intuitive when it is used to detect the function of discrete components.
VI and multimeter resistance method type, but the multimeter resistance voltage is low, and this instrument uses AC signal to excite circuit nodes. Because the amplitude and frequency are adjustable, the amplitude close to the working voltage can be used to excite, and the measured graph is more real. The fault node can be found through comparison. Due to the limited current applied to the components, this technology will not affect or damage any components. ASA has many advantages, and it has been proved to be a fast and effective fault diagnosis technology.

How to use
1. Connect the XY of the oscilloscope with the BNC cable provided according to the identification.
2. Set the vertical sensitivity 2V/grid and the horizontal time base 5MS/grid (the digital oscilloscope needs to adjust the time base according to different frequencies, and if the horizontal line is not adjusted, it will be displayed as a dot). If the curve is displayed as a 45 degree line, select another trigger channel. Mode: x-y
3. Select low resistance and low frequency, connect the test pen, adjust the horizontal position, so that the open circuit horizontal curve is on the horizontal cross axis. Short circuit the probe, and the screen will display vertical lines. Adjust the vertical position, so that the vertical lines are on the vertical cross axis.
4. The machine has 4 internal resistances and 4 frequencies for selection. Press the key to select the internal resistance and frequency indicator lights. Press the channel key, it will flash at A, B, and A/B, that is, dual channel.
5. Please refer to the email for other detailed VI`s internal resistance, frequency selection and curve definition. TSH-210 is a foreign product manual, or a textbook, and we suggest you read it carefully.
6. The selection of internal resistance is very important. Improper internal resistance will make the curve show open circuit or short circuit curve. The most sensitive curve is 45 degree angle. For the composite curve of resistance, diode, capacitance and inductance, try to make the composite curve into 45 angle.
The TR-210 instruction manual has many examples of the role of internal resistance. Please carefully read and understand! The internal resistance is just like the resistance scale of the pointer multimeter. If you use the R1 scale to measure the resistance of a large resistance meter, the needle is on the far right, 10K, 20K. On the VI curve, there is a horizontal line that you can`t distinguish. If you use the large internal resistance to measure the small resistance, the pointer is on the far left. On the VI curve, there is a vertical line that you can`t distinguish. This instrument has four levels of internal resistance, which is based on the experience of large domestic manufacturers. Its effect is different from that of those instruments with only one level of internal resistance. Some curves look the same, and you will find that they are different if you use different internal resistance. I didn`t know anything until I used it. I suggest you go to the official website of Huineng to see the introduction of VI curve, and avoid detours.
