Battery capacity tester*1
Product selling point:
1. Integrating advanced computing functions, you can directly get battery energy (Wh) and battery discharge platform voltage (V) without the help of a computer
2. The product comes with multiple protection functions: reverse battery connection, over-power, over-voltage, abnormal power supply voltage, etc.
3. Test current 0.1-2.6A, every 0.1A is a gear can be adjusted arbitrarily, smooth current high cost MOS heat dissipation scheme, cooperate with independent MOS linear zone monitoring circuit to ensure the absolute accuracy of the whole process current
4. Equipped with advanced function setting menu, which can be expanded and modified in many ways
5. All parameters are automatically saved, and the design has an automatic memory function when power off, so you are not afraid of power failure halfway
Product parameters:
Power supply voltage: 12V standard version DC12V (DC11-14V) / MICRO USB version DC3.5-5.5V
Working current: 12V standard version does not exceed 35mA/MICRO USB about 70mA
Battery input terminal voltage: no more than 8.5V
Discharge current error: less than 1%+2mA
Voltage measurement error: less than 1%-3D
Overall measurement error (not to exceed): 0.1-0.2A 2.5%, 0.3-0.5A 1.6%, 0.6-1.0A 1.2%, 1.1A-2.6A 1%
Ah statistics range: 80.00Ah
Circuit board size (excluding copper feet): 97mm*62mm*38mm
Positioning hole: 90mm*55mm diameter 3.2mm
Integrated three capacity measurement modes are optional:
1. Two-wire intermittent mode - cut off the discharge current and detect the battery voltage instantly to prevent the influence of line loss. In this mode, the terminal voltage is tested at the moment of load shedding (within a few milliseconds) instead of the load voltage.
2. Two-wire continuous mode - mainly used as an electronic load test power supply, in this mode to test the load terminal voltage.
3. Professional four-wire test mode - it needs to cooperate with special fixtures to accurately test battery performance. In this mode, it is used to test the differential voltage of BV terminals.
The current version already has an independent RES-V (battery internal resistance-voltage test) function! (This function is suitable for quick sorting of batteries with an internal resistance of more than 20m¥Ø. Low internal resistance power batteries are not suitable. The pulse test is not the working principle of a standard AC internal resistance meter)
Quick Start Instructions:
1. Connect the positive and negative poles of the fully charged battery under test (power bank) to the BAT+ and BAT- of the blue terminals respectively, and the connecting wires should be as short and thick as possible! Apply a DC 12V working voltage to the tester (the microUSB model uses a 5V power supply), and the tester will display the discharge current when it is turned on.
2. Press the S-- or S++ button to change the set current within the range of 0.1-2.6A. After the current is suitable, press the SK button to start the test (if there is a fault code Err*, please refer to the following content), the tester can be intelligent Select the battery type and set the termination voltage. After the test starts, the "RUN" indicator lights up, and the digital tube display value will be displayed in rotation from capacity Ah, energy Wh, voltage V, and current A. When the test is completed, the digital tube stays at the value of Ah and flashes quickly with a sound reminder, and the "RUN" indicator light goes out.
3. After the completion, you can press the "SK" button to stop the flashing alarm of the tester. You can also press the S-- or S++ button to switch to check the battery capacity Ah, energy Wh and discharge platform voltage V. When you press "SK" again ¡± button, the tester returns to the power-on current setting state, and the previous operation can be repeated to test the next battery.
Note: When the test is completed and the alarm state is completed, a key operation must be performed to clear the backup data. If no key operation is performed, the backup result will always be saved, even if the power is cut off, it will not be cleared!
Error code Err* meaning and solution:
Err1: The battery voltage is too high, please make sure the battery voltage is lower than 8.5V before testing.
Err2: The battery voltage is too low (lower than the set end voltage value), please confirm the battery voltage and reset it, if the battery is reversed and the four-wire mode voltage measurement is not connected or reversed, Err2 will also appear.
Err3: The battery does not support the set discharge current or the internal resistance of the line is too high. Please use a lower current to test the battery, and ensure that the battery line is thick and short, and the electrodes are in good contact.
Err4: The power tube is damaged. This problem usually occurs after bad modification. You can replace the power tube by yourself. The substitute models include P75NF75 and so on.
Err5: Exceeding the test power limit, this state may only appear when the power limit function is turned on (LPon), which means that the discharge power exceeds 12W under the set conditions, and the tester takes protective measures to prevent heat dissipation and overheating! Users can make modifications by themselves (increasing the radiator or installing a fan), and enter the function setting menu to turn off the power limit (LPoF), and the power can exceed 12W.
Err6: The power supply voltage is out of range. When the power supply voltage is lower than 11V or higher than 14V, this error code will be displayed during the power-on process of the tester. Please replace the power supply with a suitable voltage! !
Note: When Err1-Err5 is displayed, press any key to return to the initial state.
