Three. Operation guide1. Before use, please take off the protection cap under the PH meter, stir the PH composite electrode in pure water or distilled water, wash it thoroughly and then throw it dry. Start up according to ON/OFF, immerse the PH composite electrode in the solution under test, put it still after a little shaking, and read it when the PH number is stable.2. The default temperature unit of PH meter is? The "SA" symbol is displayed on the screen, indicating that the selected temperature unit has been saved and the instrument automatically enters normal measurement mode.3. Instrument Calibration: Prepare the standard buffer of 6.86PH, press ON/OFF to start, insert PH composite electrode into the standard buffer of configuration properly shake and then put it in rest. When the PH number is stable, press CAL for about 3 seconds, the CAL symbol shows that when the CAL is loosened, the PH meter will automatically recognize the standard buffer value at the current temperature and display it. The current measurement is about one second, then the standard buffer value at the current temperature is displayed, and two seconds later the "SA" symbol is displayed to indicate that the calibration result is being memorized, and then the "END" symbol is displayed to indicate that the calibration has been completed and the normal measurement is resumed after one second. If the CAL is pressed, the END symbol is displayed one second later, indicating that the standard buffer is invalid or the electrode is aging, press any key to exit and resume the measurement state. Please confirm whether the standard buffer or electrode is normal. Calibrate 4.01pH, 9.18pH buffer, same as above.When the PH meter is calibrated, the END symbol is not displayed. The instrument is turned on by ON/OFF. At this time, the instrument is in the measuring state. The current data on the display screen will be locked by HOLD, and the "HOLD" symbol will appear on the display screen, and then press HOLD to unlock the mode.5. Over-range display shows that when the PH value is lower than "0", higher than "14" or "the electrode is not put into the measurement solution", the PH display area will show "--".Four, use matters needing attention1. The calibrator should choose the standard buffer solution close to the liquid PH to make the measurement more accurate.2, whether the instrument needs calibration depends on the accuracy of the measured solution, electrode performance and measurement requirements. High-precision measurement should be timely calibration; general precision measurement, after a continuous use of one week or more after calibration, if the error exceeds your accuracy requirements, must be re-calibrated.The instrument must be recalibrated under the following circumstances:(A) long term unused electrodes or newly changed electrodes.(B) after measuring concentrated acid or after measuring the strong base.(C) after measuring the solution containing fluoride and the concentrated organic solution.3, when using, do not insert the pH meter into the liquid too deep, so long as the liquid can not pass the glass electrode. Pay special attention to the loosening of the PH electrode fixed ring before use. If the PH electrode fixed ring is loosened, the liquid tested during the use of the PH meter may enter the instrument and cause trouble.4. The sensitive glass bulb of PH composite electrode must be kept in the moist condition to keep the activation state and carry on the normal test. If the PH electrode is dried for a long time, there will be slow response and poor accuracy. Therefore, at the bottom of the electrode cap of the front end of the PH-20W/220W water-proof pen-type PH meter, there is a water-storing sponge. The user must always keep the sponge wet. When the sponge is dry, a suitable amount of PH4.00 standard buffer solution can be dripped (do not let the solution flow out) and the electrode protection cap is tightened to keep the PH electrode in a state of activation under wet conditions. State.5. If the PH composite electrode which has not been used for a long time has been dried, it should be immersed in 3.3 MOL/L KCL solution for several hours before use, or special immersion solution can be purchased.6. The sensitive glass bulb at the front of the PH electrode can not contact with the hard object. Any damage and wiping will make the electrode invalid. The electrodes must be cleaned with pure water before and after measurement, so as to ensure the accuracy of measurement. After determination in the viscous sample, the electrode needs to be washed repeatedly with pure water to remove the sample adhering to the glass film, or first with suitable solvent cleaning, then with pure water to wash the solvent.
