Polytetrafluoroethylene (ptfe), commonly known as "non stick coating" or "easy to clean wok material", is a synthetic polymer material which uses fluorine to replace all hydrogen atoms in polyethylene. This kind of material has the characteristics of acid and alkali resistance, resistance to various organic solvents, and almost insoluble in all solvents. 1. Non adhesive: almost all substances do not adhere to polytetrafluoroethylene film. The thin film also shows good non adhesion.
2. Heat resistance: PTFE coating has excellent heat and low temperature resistance. It can withstand high temperature to 300 ¡É in a short time, and can be used continuously between 240 ¡É and 260 ¡É, with remarkable thermal stability. It can work at freezing temperature without embrittlement and melting at high temperature.
3. Sliding: polytetrafluoroethylene film has low friction coefficient. The friction coefficient changes with load sliding, but the value is only between 0.05-0.15.
4. Moisture resistance: the surface of polytetrafluoroethylene film is free from water and oil, and the solution is not easy to be touched during production and operation. If there is a small amount of dirt stuck, it can be removed by simple wiping. Short down time, save time and improve work efficiency.
5. Wear resistance: excellent wear resistance under high load. Under a certain load, it has the double advantages of wear resistance and non adhesion.
6. Corrosion resistance: polytetrafluoroethylene is almost free from drug corrosion. It can withstand all strong acids (including aqua regia), strong oxidants, reducers and various organic solvents except molten alkali metals, fluorinated media and sodium hydroxide higher than 300 ¡É, which can protect parts from any kind of chemical corrosion.
